Privacy policy and Cookie policy

This Privacy Policy is provided in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Guidelines issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority regarding cookies and other tracking tools – 10 June 2021 [9677876]. This policy applies exclusively to this website (www.ispa.cnr.it) and not to other websites that may be accessed by users through hyperlinks.

The Data Controller

Purpose and Legal Basis of Data Processing

Personal data are processed by CNR-ISPA in the performance of tasks carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Controller, including for scientific research, statistical analysis, educational, or administrative purposes, pursuant to Article 6(1)(e) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and to provide and optimize the web services made available.
The processing is limited to technical browsing data, such as IP addresses, operating system, and other information normally transmitted by the client to the server via the HTTP protocol. These data are stored for one year, after which they are anonymized and retained indefinitely solely for statistical or security purposes. Data are processed by trained internal personnel in a lawful, fair, and relevant manner, limited to what is necessary to achieve the purposes of processing, in accordance with Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Data may be retained solely for potential law enforcement requirements. Specific technical and organizational security measures are applied to prevent loss, unlawful processing, or unauthorized access.

Data Subjects’ Rights

Data subjects have the right to request access to personal data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, or to object to processing, pursuant to Articles 15–21 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Data subjects who consider that the processing of their personal data is non-compliant with the GDPR may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority under Article 77, or seek judicial remedies under Article 79.
